Blue Cross – Kenya prides itself in evidence-based programs and policy formulation informed by research on alcohol and drug use and other socio-economic challenges that affect the community. We run a resource hub with peer research writings and policy briefs. This centre is a reference point in informing progress of the activities we run as an organisation. The Centre’s research responds directly to the needs of the community as it provides higher degree research pathways to stakeholders interested in research, including exchange opportunities for career development. It supports research on Prevention and early intervention, mental health issues, Epidemiology of drug and alcohol use and harms, gender based violence and human rights. We offer both online and physical learning materials that inform areas for research and policy formulation. The centre is located at Kisumu Head office and is open from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.
