What we do

Life skills

Alcohol consumption in sub - saharan Africa is on the rise, as manufacturers see a promising new market with a young population, financial growth and poor alcohol regulations.

Advocacy

Advocacy against Alcohol and Drugs harm is at the core of our work at Blue Cross Kisumu specifically as it concerns children and youth who are the most vulnerable.

Digital Literacy

We believe each child should have the opportunity to be Digitally literate and have the ability to access, manage, understand, integrate...

Arts Classes

We use arts in our programmes as a tool to help children and youth express themselves and learn art skills. By teaching children and youth creativity skills their confidence grows and their ability to excel in other educational areas improves.

Base camps/Safe Spaces

We have 6 children and youth safe spaces situated in the major slums and peri- urban communities (Kibos, Railways ward, Manyatta, Nyalenda A,Nyalenda B and Bandani) in Kisumu, Kenya.

Trainings

We have developed a standard children, youth and caregivers Life skills Education Manual which is suitable to use in Africa and other continents in the world.
